🪷 Design idea

This piece was inspired by the beauty of traditional Thangka paintings. I've always been fascinated by how these sacred artworks use bold, rich colors and sometimes incorporate precious materials such as amber and turquoise to create a sense of reverence and abundance.

When designing this plate, I chose crystals with deep, captivating colors and strong visual presence - Blue Apatite, Lapis Lazuli, Amber, Diopside, Amazonite, Labradorite, and Amethyst.

Many of these stones are either beautifully opaque or display rich color saturation, giving the piece a sacred, lively, and almost jewel-like appearance. My goal was to capture the same feeling of depth, vibrancy, and spiritual beauty that first drew me to Thangka art.

Copper wire coils are placed around the symbol, as well as aluminum, copper, and brass shavings. These metals are traditionally used in energy work for their conductive properties and are believed to help channel, amplify, and distribute the energetic qualities of the surrounding crystals.

Ancient symbol formed by two interlocking tetrahedrons in perfect balance. The word Merkaba is often interpreted as: Mer – Light; Ka – Spirit; Ba – Body

Together, the Merkaba symbolizes the union of mind, body, and spirit. It is believed to represent divine protection, higher consciousness, spiritual awakening, and the connection between earthly and cosmic energy.

Handmade items could have imperfections such as indents and bubbles, and vary slightly in color under different lights and monitor settings. However, this does not change or decrease its effectiveness.
